Welcome to our city walk through Dendermonde! This walk is a wonderful way to explore the history and culture of Dendermonde. Our route takes you along the Grote Markt, the heart of the city. Here you’ll find the beautiful Town Hall, dating back to the 16th century. Adorned with statues of important historical figures and boasting an impressive clock tower, the building is a sight to behold.

From the Grote Markt, you can also catch a glimpse of the Our Lady’s Church, a Gothic church dating back to the 14th century. Along the route, you’ll also encounter landmarks such as the Mechelen Gate, the Brussels Gate, the Saint Alexius Beguinage, and the Palace of Justice.
